Two-Wire Splice

I have a question about two-wire splices.

If I have a FMC in Integrator that contains a two-wire splice, and the wire specs on both wires are the exact same....will this splice show up in Modular XC after synchronization and harness processing?

Is there any way to avoid using a two-wire splice when really what we need is a point-to-point wire?
